This paper deals with a chain of different simulators able to simulate from the tree growth until the deformation of the sawn product caused by the release of the growth stresses. Its aim is to give an overview of the chain and to use it to discuss the resulting deformation of a board in four different cases where different strategies of allocation for the maturation stresses are carried out. The results concern the effect of the stress field heterogeneity linked to the occurrence of reaction wood.
