This communication presents three strategies of triploidy breeding very promising for the diversification of easy peeler cultivars: the research of spontaneous triploïd in progenies of diploïd X diploïd hybridization; the sexual hybridization between diploïd and tetraploïd; the somatic hybrdization between diploïd and haploïd protoplasts. These three strategies are complementary regarding the germplasm accessible, the level of genome recombination and the level of heterozygosity of the final triploïd progenies
