This visit took place from 23 September to 13 October 2003, with a break from 6 to 9 October to attend the ISOPB seminar. The main points covered were: 1 - Seed production: Socfindo production capacity; Germinator; Seed marketing. 2 - Seed production for Socfindo commercial plantation. 3 - 2003, 2004 and 2005 planting programmes for genetic improvement. 4 - 2005 Socfinco programme. 5 - Planting material exchange for the genetic improvement programmes: Exchange with Lonsum; Exchange with Pobè; Proposed exchange with PP.KS (IOPRI). 6 - Socfindo back-cross programme. 7 -Aek Kwasan II project: Planting material available at Socfindo; Material available outside Socfindo. 8 - 2004 PSBB observation programme. 9 - Biomolecular project (INCO Linkpalm2). 10 - Block 65: collection. 11 - In vitro culture laboratory.
