This poster will present our experience about innovative participatory methodologies for protected areas management. Our research project named SimParc is based on a serious game (distributed role-playing game with advanced computer support) inspired by the negotiation and decision process taking place between stake holders and park manager in a management council of a Brazilian national park. We will summarize our project design and experience and exchange ideas and questions with the audience.
