In 2019, FTA program funded a mission to CIRAD to obtain information about the evolution of rubber agroforestry trials plots that were established in the 1990's with ICRAF in 3 provinces; West Kalimantan, Jambi and West Sumatra. The mission could visit only the West Kalimantan provinces. All villages were trials plots were established have been visited (Kopar, Engkayu, Embaong, Pana and Trimulia à except Pariban Baru in Sintang area (due to lack of time) as well as the former SRDP Sanjan villages were project farmers were the very first to re-introduce fruit and timber trees within their project clonal rubber initial monoculture.
