For the fourth year running, FruiTrop presents an update of world banana production and trade. The originality of the document resides in the organisation of information by variety or group of varieties. This work by a CIRAD-FLHOR researcher is closer to reality as the data is set out in such a way as to be less of a simplification than a mere division between banana and plantain.
