This one-week course corresponded to step 7 (out of 12) of the on-going Asia IT&C Project on Multi-Agent Systems (MAS), Social Sciences and Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM) coordinated by the IRRI-Cirad team based at IRRI Thailand Office. This series of short courses is also supported by IRRI, Cirad, and the Regional Cooperation Office of the Embassy of France in Bangkok. This time, the working sessions aimed at improving the participants ability to deal with several key methodological issues regarding the use of MAS models to examine social sciences and INRM issues.
