Objectives of the mission. The mission undertaken by two CIRAD scientists from 21" November to 2nd December 2005 aims at: - Having a better insight on how major actors of the rice supply chain perceived the issue. - Taking stock of current research and actions focusing or dealing with rice quality issue. - Pursuing consultation with CIRAD partners. - Investigating funding agencies interest in the subject and ability to sponsor the organization of the stakeholder workshop.
