Market fundamentals are keeping the price of orange juice above $2,000/t. This is good news for a processing sector that has been under pressure for years. Since 2020, Europe's fresh citrus industry has been navigating between increases in intermediate costs in all production areas (suppliers from the Mediterranean basin and the southern hemisphere), sanitary restrictions disrupting marketing and consumption, logistical difficulties that are sometimes unsolvable, with the additional challenges of an unpredictable climate.
