This tutorial is aimed at providing a newer QGIS user with a brief introduction to the graphical user interface and basic capabilities of QGIS for opening a QGIS project, manipulating data, and realizing typical GIS operations. Files used in the tutorial have already been prepared in the folder GISDATA. Create a folder where you will save all the layers you will create during the week.
