There are many changes to be made in contemporary agricultural practices to make them more aligned with regenerative farming. In this concluding chapter, we focus on six factors that we consider fundamental for achieving this reorientation. One of these focuses – farmers' participation and their involvement in making these changes – has not been addressed directly in this book, except for Chapter 37. This factor was preempted by this book's framing of soil system management mostly in biophysical terms, but we recognize and highlight its importance here because it should be part of any strategy for advancing regenerative agriculture.
