This study, conducted as part of the Multifunctional Landscapes (MFL) project, analyzes the role of stakeholder platforms in the governance of multifunctional landscapes in the department of Fatick, based on field surveys and documentary analysis. It uses a qualitative approach combining semi-structured interviews, analysis of planning and public policy documents (PDC, PDD, local agreements) and capitalization of data from related projects, notably GALILEO. The results highlight the existence of active consultation mechanisms, which are still poorly institutionalized and face limitations in terms of coordination, social inclusion, and articulation with formal territorial planning tools. The study highlights the potential of multi-stakeholder platforms to support the agroecological transition and strengthen territorial governance, subject to better institutional anchoring and enhanced synergies between projects and public policies.
